Dort besch\u00e4ftigte er sich f\u00fcr eine Forschungsarbeit mit der nachhaltigen Entwicklung der Ozeane \u2013 mit ern\u00fcchterndem Ergebnis. Trotz wachsendem Bewusstsein wird unser Umgang mit den Meeren immer unnachhaltiger. F\u00fcr Chris war klar: Etwas muss sich \u00e4ndern!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daraufhin entwickelte Chris das Konzept \u201eBlue Awareness\u201c, um seine Mitmenschen durch ber\u00fchrende und bewegende Geschichten zu \u201eHelden der Meere\u201c zu machen. Immer wieder reist er zu den K\u00fcsten dieser Welt und trifft inspirierende Vorbilder, die sich f\u00fcr die Meere einsetzen. Mit jeder Menge Erfahrungen im Gep\u00e4ck bringt er diese Geschichten durch eindrucksvolles Storytelling auf B\u00fchnen und Bildschirme. Damit ber\u00fchrt er sein Publikum und hilft ihm, eigene Heldenreisen zu wagen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seit 2019 hat Chris tausende Menschen in hunderten Vortr\u00e4gen begeistert, in Unternehmen, Schulen und auf Events. F\u00fcr seine Bildungsarbeit wurde er mit dem Klimapreis des Schwalm-Eder-Kreises ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n<p>2021 startete Chris den Podcast \u201e<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.helden-der-meere.com\">Helden der Meere\u201c<\/a><\/span>, um die Menschen zu interviewen, die ihn f\u00fcr die Meere begeistern. Mittlerweile geh\u00f6rt \u201eHelden der Meere\u201c auf Spotify zu den top 1% der meistgeteilten Podcasts weltweit.<\/p>\n<p>Gemeinsam mit dem Journalisten Florian Sturm ver\u00f6ffentlichte Christian Weigand 2023 die Reportage-Sammlung \u201e<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/ein-leben-fuer-den-ozean.de\">Ein Leben f\u00fcr den Ozean<\/a><\/span>\u201c.
